Aftercare Instructions
These aftercare guidelines are designed to support your skin and body in the hours and days following your treatment. Please follow the instructions for the ritual you received to help maintain results and encourage optimal healing.

Avoid actives - particularly exfoliators like AHA, BHA or PHA, retinol or vit c for 24h
Avoid saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, big work outs or just anything that makes you sweat for 24h
Avoid make up for 24h - if you have to focus on eyes and lips
Avoid direct sunlight for 72h - if its summer wear a hat outdoors
Avoid facial tools like cups, guasha for 24h
Cleanse as normal tonight then moisturise with a light face oil or serum - if you had a late afternoon facial just go to bed without cleansing or moisturising
Drink lots of water to help the lymphatic system clear what is no longer serving you
Rest yourself today if you can
Expect skin purging from the detoxifying oils - try to avoid touching or picking, recommend a tiny bit of juniper, tea tree or manuka oil if you do have any break outs
Often there be some light marking after machine usage - this will heal within a couple of days. If you do see any marks then taking arnica 30 can help with healing

Do not cleanse today or use any oily products - use only water based products like aloe vera or a hydrosol spritz like rose or camomile (as provided), or even just a splash of water to the face - this is to feed the hyaluronic which will plump your skin
There is one star product that is worth using immediately and in the days that follow - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule - available online, in bigger Boots, and Wylde Bird hairdresser on Bohemia Road sells it
SKIN1004 also do a Centella Soothing Cream which is perfect to use before you go to bed on the first night after micro needling. The following morning cleanse as normal and apply a generous layer of this - repeat morning and night for a few days

If you have Arnica 30c then take today and tomorrow - this can help with healing post microneedling
Eat lots of protein (meat, meat stock/broth) oily fish, legumes, beans, pulses, eggs, soy products, greek yog etc) and good fats (olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, grass fed butter, ghee, tallow) plus nuts and seeds - this helps support the body's healing and repair post microneedling
Consider a collagen supplement for the same reason as above - Organised and APE Nutrition are our favourites
