Hi, I’m Jo!

As a child, I was always concocting - mixing potions in the garden and allotment, and later, as a teenager, creating face masks in the kitchen with whatever felt intuitively nourishing. Through my twenties and thirties, no matter how late the night, my skincare rituals always seemed to unfold like magic. And in early motherhood, skincare became tiny acts self-love that helped keep me grounded. 

Today, I’m deeply honoured to have transformed this lifelong passion into my profession. I’ve had the privilege of training one-on-one with holistic practitioner, healer, and skincare expert Shelly Murphy, alongside completing training with Relax Skin School, accredited by VTCT, BABTAC, and ABT. Prior to becoming a Facialist, I worked in the media industry for many years, and later with start-up brands in the wellbeing space.

I approach my therapeutic work with empathy and an open heart. Through lived experience, I’ve learned that trauma can be gently released through a combination of touch, movement and space holding.

I have lived through many challenges - health-related and otherwise - and I truly believe in our capacity to grow, evolve, and step beyond the labels society gives us. My work in holistic skincare is an expression of that belief - a way to share love energetically, nurture others and stay connected to my community.
